[SG EATS] Ju Hao by Ministry of Food At Singpost Centre – Healthy Taiwanese Sundried Noodles
Ju Hao , the authentic Northern-Chinese cuisine restaurant from local food empire Ministry of Food is located at Platform M by MOF level 2 of SingPost Centre. It is conveniently located within a walking distance from Paya Lebar MRT Station. Platform M is also one-stop food destination for different restaurant concepts and Ju Hao is one of the listed F&B.
Starting from 6 May onwards, all noodles served at Ju Hao will be replaced with Taiwanese sundried noodles. These noodles are dried under low temperatures with neither added salt, oil, nor preservatives. This preserves the noodles’ nutritional values, making it healthy and convenient for all to enjoy.
There are 4 types’ noodles to choose. This includes waves, slices, handmade, and hand-shaped thin noodles. Ju Hao offers quite varieties of noodles including Beijing Zha Jiang Noodle, Mushroom Minced Meat Noodles, Steamed Chicken Soup with noodles, Fried Chicken Cutlet with noodles and many more.
Diners have the option to customize the texture of noodles ( from soft to al-dente), the flavour ( from light to heavy), as well as the amount of oil. Alternatively, you can also choose the noodle offerings from their display menu.
Here are the tasting dishes:
Signature Noodles with Pork Chop S$12.00
Sesame Noodles with Wanton S$10.00
We also tried 2 new upcoming dishes which yet to launch on that day. Shallot Noodles with Haianese-style chicken which I personally enjoyed it and Mala noodles with Kou Shui Ji (口水鸡). The combination between the chicken and the Sichuan Chilli oil sauce was quite appealing and tasty too. The actual release date has yet to finalize. You may want to check them out from official website http://platformm.ministryoffood.com.sg .
After trying out the different type of noodles, my personal favourite is their hand-shaped thin noodles and waves. As for the texture wise, I personally love the soft part and it is subject to individual preference. And I recommend to try the chicken cutlet and the upcoming new noodle offerings. Those are my favourite picks from the session. And of course the crispy and savoury texture of red bean pancake is recommended to try too.
