More durian desserts options are available in town! Durian High Tea Buffet 2019 by Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is back from 3 June to 31 July 2019. The buffet spread includes selection of local delicacies apart from the durian selection.What to Expect from Durian High Tea Buffet?

The highlights for this year are the Durian Red Bean Pudding, Durian Coconut Custard, Durian Tarts and Durian Gateau. The Durian Red Bean Pudding uses whole Japanese azuki beans and durian puree on top. As for the Durian Coconut Custard, the light custard with Mao Shan Wang durian and shredded coconut is simply appealing and tasty too.

Check out the Durian Rojak, Durian Pizza and Durian Roti John corner. It is rather interesting combination I would say. Rojak itself has an acquired taste with sweet, salty, sour and spicy in it. So with the durian elements added in, the taste is not that subtle in flavour. I still find it acceptable but depends on individual preference.



Baked Durian Strudel with flaky pastry crusts is one of my favourite desserts for this durian high tea buffet. Also, mini-bite size Durian Tarts with crisp buttery tart is available too. Indulge in Durian Bread & Butter Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Durian Cream Puffs, Durian Panna Cotta, Durian Crepes, Durian Ice-cream and many more. All the desserts will be served in rotating basis during the promotion period.






Lastly, complete your durian experience with beverage inspired by the King of Fruits. With S$5.00++ each, enjoy a Durian Pandan Smoothie or Durian Banana Smoothie, specially concocted from the bounty of the topics.My friend prefer Durian Banana Smoothie over Durian Pandan Smoothie after trying the sample portion. As for me, I prefer Durian Pandan with less sweet though.

Savouries dishes are available in the buffet spread if u had overdose of durian dishes. Expect to have fresh seafood, local classic delights and dim sum choices for you.
