[SG EATS] Les Bouchons Rive Gauce At Robertson Quay – French Restaurant For Sunday Brunch
Les Bouchons is a French restaurant with history dated all the way back to 2002. Les Bouchons also one of the Singapore’s longest-standing French restaurant. I was invited for a brunch tasting session recently at their restaurant located at Robertson Quay. They have recently launched their first-ever Sunday Brunch menu –‘ Bouchons Riviera Brunch’ helmed by Head Chef Mickael Cornac.
Riviera Wallness Bowl S$18.00++
For healthy version, go for this wellness bowl that comes with granola, honey yoghurt, goji berries, banana, strawberries and chia seeds. The portion is generous and it is just nice after a morning exercise and wants to feel healthy after the brunch.
Eggs Mimosa S$14.00++
Egg lovers can order this appetiser that comes with mayonnaise and garlic asparagus as the side.
Escargots De Bourgogne S$16.00++
Our favourite dish and highly recommend dipping the bread to the garlic butter sauce. It is a classic French Escargot dish that you wouldn’t want to miss.
Grilled Black Angus Rib Eye Steak and Frites S$39.80++
Our favourite and highly recommend to order this. As you know, French restaurant will always have this free flow home-made French fries and their French fries are superb good. The Black Angus Rib Eye Steak is perfect in flavour and juicy in taste. Thumbs up for this!
Bouchons Sunday Roast S$32.00++
The ‘roast of the day’ the other day was lamb shank with mushroom sauce and roasted baby potatoes.
Gueule de Bois/ Bouchons Hangover Cure S$24.00++
We heard about Beyond and Impossible burgers lately and here we got the ‘Impossible’ meatballs with scrambled eggs with truffle oil, sautéed porcini mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes and asparagus on a toasted sourdough bread. I would say hearty brunch and recommend sharing with a friend because it is quite filling.
Crepes S$8.00++
As for dessert, try the crepe with Nutella, nutella banana or honey.
Chocolate Brownie “Fait Maison” S$10.00++
Or you won’t go wrong with their classic Fudge Brownie with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream and some strawberries.
The portion served here are pretty generous and reasonable pricing. Diners can enjoy the alfresco area and the kids can play at the mini playground set up by the restaurant along the side of the alfresco area. The brunch menu starts from 11:30AM to 3:30PM every Sunday.
