Soi Thai Soi Nice has recently launched “Thai-Teochew” menu in commemoration of JEM’s flagship store’s 1st birthday. I finally visited their JEM outlet after my guest writer raved about it on previous post.So, this well-loved establishment taps into the rich tapestry of Bangkok’s Chinatown culinary heritage and be transported back to the memories in Chinatown.


The latest revamped menu featuring Royal Thai Fish Head Hotpot S$38.80++ for 2pax and Royal Thai Seafood Porridge S$38.80++ for 2pax.
Royal Thai Fish Head Hot Pot (皇室香芋鱼头炉) S$38.80++


The hotpot consists of Fish Head with mussels, oysters, enoki mushrooms, tau kee, flower clam, deep-fried egg tofu, yam, round cabbage with yam fish soup. Diners can choose the choice of soup base -Yam Fish, Tom Yum Red and Tom Yum Clear. The assortment of fresh seafood and sweet seasonal vegetables are best to share with 2 to 4 pax. Shiok!

Royal Thai Seafood Porridge (皇室海鲜粥）S$38.80++ with Add on Lobster S$16.00++

Royal Thai seafood porridge features flower crab with squid, prawn, red grouper fillet, mussels, flower clam, raw egg and yam. We had flower crab with add on lobster to our seafood porridge. We totally enjoyed the full flavoured broth complimenting the fragrant Thai Jasmine rice with the sweetness from the seafood ingredients. This is best comforting dish especially on rainy days.




Other dishes to check out include Braised Pork Knuckle 香焖猪脚 S$18.90++ , Grilled Whole Squid 香烤苏东 $15.90++, Thai Gong Bao Crab (Soft Shell/Flower Crab) 泰式宫保蟹 S$24.90++ ,Waterfall Deep Fried Pork Belly 秘制酱酥炸五花肉 S$13.90++ and Tofu Crystal Prawn 豆腐水晶虾 S$15.90++.

The Braised Pork Knuckle is well-marinated and tender with slight gelatinous texture while the deep-fried pork belly tasted tender and crispy.




All the dishes here are served with in-house sauce. Be sure you get a group of friends to try out their hotpot here at JEM and Seletar Mall. And just for the Seletar Mall outlet, Soi Thai Soi Nice is serving up Royal Thai Mookata S$38.00++ for 2pax. Hotpot ingredients include barbeque and steamboat boasting ample seafood, meat and vegetables.
