Singapore Food Masters 2019 is back this season featuring the stalls and restaurants across Singapore. This event is held annually in appreciation of Singapore local food culture.The food hunt is categorized into four zones – North, East, Central & West with top 10 Food Masters unveiled for the public and judges to vote for a given time period. And lastly, we will have the top 3 eateries from four corners amongst more than 120 eateries.
I am honored to be one of the judges for this year. I am so excited to be part of this food hunt across Singapore. Each eatery is judged by the public, judges and team at SPH. The judging includes the taste, cleanliness, service, healthier choice and also value-for-money.

So after weeks of public voting, the Top 40 stalls and restaurants across Singapore have been announced according to zone. There will be Top 10 from each zone and full details already available on Singapore Food Masters 2019’s website.

Here are the summary of the Top 10 eateries:
CENTRAL ZONE: Delibowl Express,Haven Bistro,Jia Bin Klang Bak Kut Teh, Kee Hiong Klang Klang Bak Kut Teh,Little Bowl,SG Pho House,Taste Good Kitchen,Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu, Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ Restaurant,Wok Master
NORTH ZONE: Caffe Zeppin, Feng Fong,Leaf Corner (Vegetarian),Sembawang Traditional Claypot Rice, Swatow Seafood Restaurant, Takagi Ramen, Thai Hao Chi Mookata, The Beef Station, Woody Family Café,Xinghua Delights

Ranging from hawker food to restaurants, it is quite challenging as there are all in different level of field in terms of services and pricing. Nevertheless, it was quite fun experiencing and doing food hunt exploring islandwide within these 2 weeks.
