Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant ushers in a prosperous Year of the Ox with array of Cantonese dishes for takeaways and lavish set menus for up to 8 persons. The dishes are curated by Chinese Executive Chef Chan Kung Lai whose origins are from Hong Kong. There are a total of 6 different set menus. From the 8-course Blissful Menu at S$398.00++ for 4 pax to the Prosperous Celebrations Menu at S$1,398.00++ for 8 persons.Here are some of the dishes we had during the session.
Alaskan Crab with Salted Egg Yolk Sauce Yu Sheng
Price: S$98.00nett (S) | S$138.00nett (L)


The Yu Sheng is drizzled with a hint of Salted Egg Yolk sauce that gives a tangy twist to the traditional taste with umami fresh Alaskan Crab. We thought that the salted egg yolk flavour can be stronger because it was covered by the sweet and tangy plum sauce. But overall it is a balance of sweet and savoury start of the meal.

Hearty and comforting soup that is available in Xin Cuisine’s Reunion Dinner and Lunar New Year Set Menus.

Abalone Treasure Pot
Pen Cai is a must-have dish for Chinese reunion dinner and Xin’s version comes with premium ingredients like Abalone, Fresh Scallop, Deep-fried Fish Maw, Sea Cucumber, Roast Meat and many more. The Pen Cai is also available for takeaways and you can enjoy 15% off when you order from here.

Xin’s Deep Fried Nian Gao with Coconut Milk

Lastly, we had the deep-fried nian gao to end with a sweet note. The nian gao pairs with the coconut milk was just nice and not overly sweet.
