SENSHI located in Dorsett Singapore is the first contemporary Japanese a la carte buffet restaurant helmed by Veteran Chef Martin Woo and Team. SENSHI, which means “warrior” has a spacious dining area with 115 seats and two private rooms. The restaurant has recently opened on 7 May 2021 and currently having 50% off Dine-in Reopening Specials. We were given a order sheet with list of the available buffet items to order. The order sheet is divided to several categories including hot and cold appetizers, sushi, sashimi, shabu shabu and cooked food. Here are some of the food items we ordered for our dinner session.
For hot and cold appetisers, we ordered Pidan Tofu, Onsen Tamago and Mentaiko Tamago. Both Onsen Tamago and Mentaiko Tamago are recommended items in the menu.
As for sashimi, we had Moriawase that comes with 15pcs of sashimi. Fresh sashimi varieties include Salmon, Tako, Tuna, Hamachi and Mekajiki.
Next, we tried some of the sushi like Mentaiko Salmon Maki Mono, Sake Mentaiko Sushi, Sake Cheese Sushi. Kani Sushi, Sake Sushi, Unagi Sushi and Ebi Sushi.
For cooked food, we had Yakimono style aka marinated, skewered, and grilled items. Food items include Omega3 Barramundi, Salmon Teriyaki, Beef Cubes, Beef Yakiniku, Pork Yakiniku, Sea Clam Butter and Eggplant Beanpaste.
Other items like Shabu Shabu and desserts are available in the buffet menu as well. We were too full to try this time round though. The dinner was not bad in terms of food varieties and services. The restaurant also tweaks its menu to feature new dishes as the seasons change. If you want to pair it with alcoholic beverages, there are arsenal of beer, hard liquor, and Japanese sake for you to choose from.
