Offshore Bar & Grill located at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal offers a different kind of buffet experience that you cannot find in city I would say. They specialize in seafood charcoal buffet dining experience with sea view. This dining ambience offers diners kelong-style dining, which is very rare to have them in this bustling city.
It is an outdoor dining experience where you can listen to the sea waves while barbecuing your food. This is best for couples or friends to date/ catch up while enjoying the nature.
We had the Happy Feast Starter Package S$69.00++ per pax that comes with a half lobster on top of a buffet-style selection of fresh seafood, meat, vegetables, and a range of homemade sauces.
There are few sections for diners to select your choice of ingredients. From seafood to meats, skewers to cooked food for you to choose. The food is displayed, and the staff will be there to assist you. Seafood items like baby octopus, prawns, salmon fillet, mud crab, scallops and more. As for meats, there are fat beef, marinated chicken and pork, sausages, chicken wings and more.
On top of these, you can add on Super Happy S$49.00++ per table package for more seafood. With this, diner can choose the seasonal live seafood from the aquarium. If you enjoy drinking, add on S$29.00++ per pax for free-flowing booze from the house with House Beers, House Spirits and House Wines.
Overall experience was pretty good, and it feels like out of Singapore. It has been a while since I last listen to sea waves and having outdoor barbecue. The seafood here are fresh and sweet I would say. I would prefer the seafood over the meats though. And do take note that since it’s charcoal barbecue, it will take quite a while to cook the food. I would suggest you come by from 5.30pm onwards to secure a spot to face the sea and enjoy the sunset view.
