Rejoice! Indulge in this Festive Season with Oscar’s “Assisted Buffet” starting on Thanksgiving night at Oscar’s – Conrad Centennial Singapore. Celebrate the festive feast with the family, friends, seasonal celebration with colleagues or even a date with a loved one. This is the best excuse to go for a leisurely lunch or an indulgent dinner buffet. Let me walk you through the highlights for this year’s Christmas feast.

Frutti Di Mare Platter
Luxurious seafood platter that consists of Boston Lobster, Alaskan King Crab, Oysters and Prawns. Diners can choose from three to five types of fresh oysters in one seating. The platter comes with three sauces – tartare, seafood sauce and vinaigrette.

Truffles Turkey and Caramelized Onions Pincho
Pincho refers to an appetizer similar to tapas in Spain. It is a small bite with sliced bread topped with sweet (caramelized onions & candied orange) and savoury (truffled turkey), followed by garlic cream chesse.

Snapper and Pineapple Ceviche, Gazpacho
Cured snapper with sweet and refreshing pineapple along with pickled onions and spicy salsa for the sweet, savory and zesty flavour.

Foie Gras- Egg, Wild Mushrooms Truffle Toast
All-day breakfast choice of perfect poached eggs on top of truffle, wild mushrooms, and foie gras. Earthy, wholesome flavours of mushrooms and truffles and foie gras gives the extra fancy on the dish. Rich flavor and a touch of acidic lingonberries.




Chef’s Craving Trolley

The highlight of the festive theme buffet is the juicy, tender Roasted Turkey with Brandy infused Turkey Gravy along with the sides like roasted brussel sprouts. It comes in Chef’s Craving Trolley where the Dry Rubbed Whole Roasted Ribeye is served together. The roasted beef is served with horseradish slaw and peppercorn jus.


Other Festive Barbeque selections include Rosemary Garlic Marinated Lamp Chop, Chestnut and Cranberry Stuffed Chicken Wings and Orange Thyme Australian Quails.I enjoyed the nice charred and juicy tender marinated lamb chop. And chef did a good job on the pomegranate glaze and mint oil that balance off the gaminess from the lamp chop. Chicken wings lover can indulge in this chicken wings stuffed with chestnut and cranberry.

Desserts

Lastly, sweet note for the night. We had the Bitter Sweet Chocolate Yule Log, Panettone Yule Log, Traditional Stolen and Pecan Tart. All are served in mini cute size which is perfect for buffet. Diners can get to try everything bit by bit.
