Sol & Luna by established F&B 1-Group is the highest rooftop restaurant in town. The new Latin-European restaurant is located on the 17th floor in the 51-storey CapitaSpring Building. You can overlook the entire CBD and sunset views as well. Sol & Luna refers to “sun and moon” that indicates that they are open from sunrise to sundown. True enough, they offer all-day dining menu that include brunch, tapas and afternoon tea/high tea as well.
Before you make your way to Sol & Luna, take a walk through the green oasis surroundings and you will love the peacefulness and greenery space. We were told that you can look out for QR codes to order from Sol & Luna remotely no matter where you are in the CapitaSpring rooftop garden. So cool right? But the QR code is not ready yet as of now. I wish I can drop by during the weekdays to use the facilities here. But too bad… I was here for their high tea menu that is available from 2.30pm- 5pm over the weekend.
For S$38.00++ per pax, the high tea set comes with 2-tiers exclude coffee or tea. You need to top up for the drinks.
The tier comes with savoury items like Mini Croissant Croque Monsieur Gougeres, Gruyere Cheese Profiterole Mini Bagel With Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon, Pomegranate, Dill & Lemon Mushroom Duxelles Vol Au Vent. My favourites are the Mini Croissant Croque Monsieur Gougeres that sounds fancy but they’re just perfectly baked ham and cheese sandwich and the bite-size canape Vol Au Ventmade from bought puff pastry and stuffed with a creamy mushroom duxelles.
For sweets, we had the Chestnut Mandarin Mont Blanc, Ispahan Tart, Lavender Madeleines,Mini Donut Cappuccino Mousse and Vanilla Canelé.The sweet desserts are overall decent and not too sweet. My personal favourites are the Mini Donut Cappucino Mousse and Lavendar Madeleines. The sizes of each desserts are exquisite and make your mouth water.
Apart from the standard tea and coffee selection, they also offer cocktails & mocktails too. You can complete your high tea experience with your choice of drinks at additional cost.
