As Japan’s famed springtime, Sakura is approaching this period, Conrad Centennial Singapore welcomes guests with a dreamy afternoon tea and the advent of Cherry Blossoms. The Sakura Afternoon Tea is available at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge from 14th March till 2nd May 2022.

The Sakura Afternoon Tea features 4 sweets and 4 savoury items, not forgetting the homemade scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Each delectable treat is handcrafted to bring out the delicate flavours of the pink petals. The set also include a choice of Ronnefeldt Tea (unlimited refill) and Brazilian Coffee.
For savoury, indulge in Sakura Brioche Skagen Classic Shrimp Toast with Tobiko, Egg Sandwiches and Rose Buttermilk with Ikura and Dill, Sakura Cream Cheese with Smashed Avocado (Toast Smoked Salmon, Sundried Tomatoes) and Sakura Chicken on Tomato Bread (Boursin and Sakura Infused Chutney).
Moving on, we have the Sakura Cheesecake, Sakura Tart with Wild Strawberry Compote, Red Velvet Sakura Mousse with Raspberry Jam and Sakura Puff with Cherry Blossom Jelly. Every bite-size piece is a piece of art and surprisingly the desserts are not overly sweet. All the desserts are pleasing to all, especially to ladies.
Indulge in homemade classic scone and homemade raisin scone with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream.
There was a list of tea selections, and I had the Morgentau Sencha while my friend tried the Milky Oolong Tea, which went well with the set. We finished off another cup of coffee of our choice.
Diners will also be treated to a complimentary “Sakura Blossom” welcome beverage.
