We finally made our way to Colony for “The Journey” Afternoon Tea at Colony, Ritz Carlton Singapore recently. It was a leisure Saturday afternoon tea date with beautiful settings and ambience.

The afternoon tea here is served in a five-tiered ceramic tiffin, also known as “tingkat” in the Malay language. Like other afternoon tea, both sweet and savoury are served. We started off with a complimentary flute of Champagne Barons de Rothschild Reserve Ritz Brut NV. If you are not into champagne, you can opt for fruity Prosecco. The tea selections include Colony’s custom tea blend and teas from Tea Bone Zen Mind. Coffee options are included as well.


For savouries, we had the Wild Mushroom, Chicken Vol-au-vent and sandwiches like Prawn, Lotus Bud Chilli Egg Sandwich, Crunchy Apple, Creamy Cheese Sandwich and Mini Tandoori Blue Swimmer Crab Puri.  In love with the presentation and the delicate bite size creation here.

For scones, we had the plain and chocolate scone along with jam and clotted cream.






As for patisserie, we had Pandan Gula Melaka Delight, Raspberry Green Tea Tart, Lychee Rose. We also had the miniatures like Coconut, Passion Fruit Cup, Peanut Nougat Sphere, Yuzu Strawberry Tart and Yoghurt Olive Oil Cake.
