Summer Palace






One Michelin starred Summer Palace joins in on the revelry of Christmas this year. Indulge in Executive Chef Liu’s six (6)-course Christmas Degustation Set priced at S$ 188.00++ per pax, which is available on 24 & 25th December 2022. The set consists of seasonal ingredients and Cantonese culinary mastery such as Wok-Fried Venison with Chestnut and Housemade XO Sauce, Oven-Baked Cod Fish with Egg White and Ikura.

Pair the dishes with one of Manhattan’s festive cocktail specials- Christmas Bijou for this year made from Regent Tea-infused Farmer’s Gin, Mancino Rosso Vermouth and Green Chartreuse.



Basilico
Basilico doled out highlights from their festive brunch and dinner buffet menus inclusive of Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day ( 12 November 2022 to 8 January 2023).






Starting from the 1 Year Old Acquerello Risotto with Calamari Ragout and Squid Ink; Baked Salmon Filet with Yogurt Dressing and Pistachio Crumble, and the Campari and Amalfi Lemon Marinated Whole Roasted Turkey that is stuffed with Blood Orange, Fresh Basil, Cerignola Green Olive and Pecorino Romano.
Ended the meal with a sweet note- Traditional Panettone with Marsala Wine Sabayon. Executive Chef Valerio Pierantonelli also presented the Pandoro with Vanilla Chantilly Sauce, a traditional Italian dessert given a Basilico twist.

Not to be missed is the Cheese Room featuring a selection of over 50 artisanal cheeses including some of Basilico’s house made Gorgonzola in imaginative flavours such as Saffron and Beer, and White Chocolate and Truffle.

Manhattan


Cakes and cocktails at Manhattan were two other festive cocktail specials by Manhattan: Red Mulled Wine and The Big Apple Cider, as well as 3 log cakes by Dolcetto: Chocolate Caramel Hazelnut Log Cake, Lime Cream Cheese and Apple Log Cake, and Pistachio Cherries Nougat Log Cake.

Keeping up with annual tradition, Dolcetto brings all the sweetness to the season with decadent showstoppers of exquisitely crafted log cakes, luxurious hamper sets and gifting options and party platters for every celebration. During our Christmas preview, we were treated with Italian aperitivo of Spiced Wine Spritzer (Calvados, Red Wine, Rooibos Tea, Xmas Spices, Fever Tree Blood Orange Soda) and a zero-proof Winter Spritz (Lyre’s Italian Orange, Cranberry, Lemon, Sugar Syrup, Fever Tree Tonic) with Asiago and Parmesan cheese chunks, Panini al Latte with Beef Sfilacci, and Bruschetta with Culatello and Robiola Cheese.
