[SG EATS] Mitsu Sushi Bar- Spring Menu for Dinner
It has been a while since E and I exploring new dinner places for the weekend. As I chanced upon Mitsu Sushi Bar online, I decided to give this place a try. Thus, I made a reservation on a Saturday night. Mitsu Sushi Bar offers variety of Japanese food including Omakase and ala –carte menu.
Their Omakase lunch and dinner prices are stated on their official website.
E and I decided to skip Omakase and go for their Spring Menu priced from S$38.00++ onwards.
Here is our choice from the Spring Menu:
Salad was served first before the main course.
Kisetsu Sakana Set S$38.00++
This set comes with a grilled season fish, sashimi, steamed egg custard, pickles, miso soup and a bowl of rice. The fish was nicely grilled on the outer and moist in the inside. It goes well with a bowl of rice. However, beware of the bones within the fish. It can be quite a hassle to remove it while you are enjoying the meal.
Wagyu Steak Set S$38.00++
The portion was generous especially the wagyu beef steak. It comes with a plate of sashimi, steamed egg custard, pickles, miso soup and a bowl of rice. The wagyu beef steak texture was flavoursome especially with the sweet sauce and the crispy garlic chips on top of it.
Asari Miso Soup S$16.00++
It was quite a handful of clams and the broth tasted briny and flavourful. We enjoyed it very much. This is available as ala-carte.
Total bill was S$108.29 inclusive of 10% service charge and 7% GST. It was a simple and yet satisfying meal. And I personally feel that with the price offered for their Spring Menu, it is quite a good deal given such a great dinning ambience and quality food.
We were seated at the second floor where there are private rooms available. If you are opting for Omakase, enjoy the interaction moments with the chef at the ground floor. It is designed as counter seats where diners can watch while the chef serves. The service was generally pleasant and the staffs greeted us with a smile for the whole time. It was a pleasant one and I hope to visit them soon for their Omakase.
