Ding Xian Hotpot is the newest addition to Eat At Seven, Suntec City. This Hotpot Restaurant is the first ala carte hotpot restaurant in Singapore to offer both Blazing Magma Soup (Japanese spicy white miso soup) and Spicy Mala Soup under one roof.The restaurant is inspired by the spices from Sichuan and Chongqing. Thanks for the invite. I got the opportunity to check it out last week.


There are a total of 5 soup bases including invigorating Clear Chicken Soup, Spicy sour Tom Yum and local classic Herbal Bak Kut Teh. We opt for the Blazing Magma Soup and classic Herbal Bak Kut Teh.

The ingredients available are priced from S$2.00 onwards and here are some of the ingredients we had. A4 Australian corn-fed wagyu, snow crab legs S$17.80, handmade meat balls, prawn balls and fish balls , Taro Thread (Shirataki) S$3.00, Dried Beancurd Sheet and many more.




And not forgetting the mushrooms and vegetables to complete the hotpot.


The local classic herbal bak kut te h gives a tint of sweetness flavour. I do not take spicy so the local classic herbal bak kut te h was just nice for me. As for the Blazing Magma Soup, the spiciness is still acceptable level for my friends. They do not find it spicy at the first place but they feel the kick after a while.

Apart from hotpot ingredients, they also offer cooked food including Seasonal Mala Grilled Fish and Braised Mala Chicken Feet. Japanese Yuzu Sake and Sapporo beer are available in the menu.

In conjunction with their opening, the restaurant is offering the opening lunch special at only S$12.90++ ( 1-For-1). This offer is only valid on weekdays from 8-11 May from 11:30AM –on 2:30pm.
