Tim Ho Wan is expanding very well in Singapore. They just unveils its latest 9th outlet at Great World City shopping mall. Tim Ho Wan currently has 45 outlets across 11 countries (including Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Vietnam).

I visited their latest outlet, Great World City few days back to check out their new Cantonese favourites and upgraded classics on the revamped menu.

Baked BBQ Pork Buns S$5.80

First up is the must-try Baked BBQ Pork Bun each time you visit Tim Ho Wan. So, they have tweaked to replicate the same pork bun as the Tim Ho Wan in Hong Kong. Love the crumbly and fluffy crust on the outer and sweet-salty diced barbecued pork in special THW sauce. The crust is slightly thinner as compared to previous version and we can taste more of the filling.

BBQ Pork Rice Rolls S$5.50

Steamed rice rolls made from a special blend of 4 different types of flours wrapped around sweet and tender barbecued pork and drizzled with sweet sauce. Diners can opt for BBQ Pork, Prawn or Mushroom filling.

Spinach Dumplings with Prawn S$4.80

I would recommend ordering this to try. Check out the crystal clear skin dumplings with plump spinach filling and mixture of sweet prawns and juicy mushrooms.

Prawn & Pork Dumplings S$4.80

Must-have dish in dim sum menu is the siew mai rich with fatty pork and sweet prawn filling, wrapped in a delicate dumpling skin.

Hong Kong Braised Beef Soup Noodle S$8.80

Indulge in the specially selected beef meat and tendons which has been braised for 3 hours in special Tim Ho Wan sauce and the springy noodles. It was so tasty that everyone at our table is full of praise. Another must-try dish to look forward when you dine in Tim Ho Wan.

Pork Dumplings in Hot & Spicy Sauce S$6.00

New in the menu is the pork dumplings are tossed in Tim Ho Wan’s red hot chilli oil and spicy sauce made from 18 different herbs and spices. Surprisingly the spicy level is acceptable for those who rarely take spicy stuffs. So, give it a try!




Spicy Fried Rice S$7.50

Fried rice tossed with fried egg, edamame and lap cheong (Chinese sauce) and complete with the spiciness to whet your appetites. The spicy level is still bearable and some even ask to level up! Addition new item in the menu!

Sesame Balls with Molten Salted Egg S$4.50

Fragrant sesame balls with oozing molten salted egg filling.

Chrysanthemum Aloe Vera Jelly S$4.50

Refreshing bowl of chrysanthemum and iced aloe vera jelly is included as the new dessert in the menu.

And of course their existing items are still listed in the menu. For those who are craving for dim sum feast this weekend, check out their new outlet at Great World City. This new outlet has 78-seaters so I guess you won’t need to queue for long!
