Baan Ying, which means ‘House of Ying’ started in 1999 at Bangkok’s Siam Square has ten outlets across prime locations in Bangkok. They have expanded their first outlet in Royal Square, located within the Novena area in 2018. Baan Ying Singapore here is pleased to announce the launch of The Great Baan Ying Brunch, a weekend treat of Thai cuisines.
What to expect from the buffet spread?
Expect to indulge in popular Thai favourites that include a choice of main course along with a buffet spread of 12 to 15 delectable appetisers, sides and desserts on rotation every week. The main course choices include Angus Beef Steak, Bone-in Iberico Pork Chop, Grilled Large River Prawns and Pan-fried Salmon Steak.
Note: Additional S$9.80++ on top of the buffet price for Bone-in Iberico Pork Chop.
Next, DIY Thai salad station where diners can mix and match their own ingredients such as peanuts,dried shrimp, cherry tomatoes, long beans and either, tangy green papaya (Som Tum) or green mango (Yum Mamuang) to toss into their personalised appetiser with Aunty Ying’s secret salad dressing.
Other sides include Pad Kalam Sai Moo (Stir-fried Pickled Cabbage with Pork), Yum Woon Sen (Glass Noodle Salad), Mini Larb Moo Tod, deep-fried spicy meat balls mixed with toasted ground rice, mixed herbs and lime juice,Kai Jiew Koong (Omelette with Shrimp and Onions), Kao Tung Na Tung (Crispy Rice with Pork and Shrimp Dip), Kaeng Ped Moo (Pineapple Curry with Pork) and Kiew Krop Na Tung (Crispy Wanton Skin with Pork and Shrimp Dip).
And of course the curries, soups, noodles, rice as well as ubiquitous desserts such as Lord Chong (green tapioca noodles in sweet coconut milk), fresh tropical fruit and coconut ice-cream to complete the meal.
The weekend (Saturday & Sunday) brunch is priced at S$38.80++per adult and S$19.40++ per child. Simply top up S$29.80++ for a free-flow of beer and wine for the entire brunch duration from 11am – 3pm.
Overall, the price is quite affordable and suitable for family and group gatherings. Diners get to try all kinds of Thai dishes at one go and it is an authentic Thai cuisine. So why not?
