Tenkaichi Japanese BBQ Restaurant is known for premium wagyu beef buffet with affordable pricing in Singapore. Tenkaichi is a premium Japanese Barbecue and Shabu Shabu buffet restaurant that was established in July 2013 by Executive Chef Mr Naing and his culinary team.


I visited their new outlet located at Cineleisure Mall for dinner tasting with my friend recently. The outlet here is modern, bright and spacious as compared with their outlet in Marina Square.
There is a section for cooked food and salads for diners to enjoy apart from bbq and shabu shabu option. Drinks are available free flow for diners to self-service.




Diners can opt for Deluxe Buffet option price from S$29.90+ or Premium Buffet option starting from S$59.90+.
For Deluxe Buffet, it offers a good selection of meats, but with a smaller spread as compared to the Premium Buffet. This includes beef to seafood, chicken, pork and sashimi.




As for Premium Buffet, diners get to enjoy FREE flow Wagyu Beef apart from the buffet spread options.

Here are some of the ingredients we ordered for our Premium Beef Buffet:
Wagyu Tan (Wagyu Beef Ox Tongue)

Wagyu Beef Yukke Sashimi

Seasoned wagyu beef served in a bowl with a raw egg yolk on top. I would suggest mixing it all together to create silky texture to accentuate the flavour of the beef.

Wagyu Karubi (Wagyu beef short ribs)
Sizzling wagyu karubi while grilling it makes us drooling. The beef short ribs are from Hokkaido and Australia. Thus, this explains the good marbling, juiciness and tenderness of the meat.
Wagyu Nakaochi (Wagyu Beef Rib Intercostal)
The beef rib from Hokkaido and Australia is diced beef cubes with a chewy texture. It is said to best enjoy with beer.

Ton Toro (Pork Cheek Fillet)

Do check out the sweet and savoury pork cheek with fats that melts through the slow grilling. You can order this for a change after all the beefs.

Hotate

Giant plump scallop taste fantastic on the grill but make sure not to overcook them.




Sashimi

Sashimi choices include salmon, maguro, tako, wagyu, hamachi, tai and wagyu tataki available when you order Premium Buffet.

Other ingredients like otak otak, ebi, lamb, Hokkaido Jumbo Oysters are available in the menu as well. Sausages like Arabiki chicken cheese, pork cheese and original are in the list too.



As for dessert, treat yourself with Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream from the display ice-cream counter to complete your meal.

If you are a beef lover and enjoy buffet, I would suggest you to try out this place. The price is affordable and best for group gathering as well.The most important part is that the ingredients served here are fresh and real quality deal I would say.
