[SG EATS] Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant (万豪軒)- One of Marriott International’s Asia Pacific Top 52 Restaurants & Bars– Celebratory Menu Available Limited Time ONLY

Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant 万豪軒 is listed as one of Marriott International’s Asia Pacific Top 52 Restaurants & Bars. As part of the celebration, Executive Chef Brian Wong has come up with this Celebratory Menu. This special menu is only available limited only, which is from 30 September till 6 October 2019.
I am one of the lucky ones to be able to taste the menu before it is official launch. So, let me share what is available in the Celebratory Menu priced at S$108.00++ per pax.

Trio Platter comprising Roast Honey Black Char Siew, Deep-Fried Suckling Pig stuffed with Shrimp Paste & Caviar and Black Garlic Irish Roast Duck. All comes in bite-size portion and served as starters of the meal.
Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant -Marriott-Double-boiled soup
Double-Boiled Fish Maw with Boletus Mushroom in Almond Superior Soup accompanied with Assorted Mushroom Dumpling. The broth is boiled for 4-6 hours with ingredients like conpoy, old chicken, chicken feet and more. Thus it is tasty and wholesome with all the premium ingredients in it. The boletus mushroom served in a green round shape reminds me of avocado and as you cut into half, there is another element of surprise. Interesting broth!




Braised Beef Short Ribs with Sha-Cha Sauce and Braised Premium Abalone with Kombu Sauce. I enjoyed the tenderness of the braised beef short ribs.
Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant -Fried Rice and Crab Claw with pumpkin sauce
Next, Fried Rice with Crab Meat served in Mini Pumpkin and Crab Claw with Pumpkin Sauce.The presentation is indeed eye-pleasing and it is my favourite dish of all. The crab claw with sweet pumpkin curry sauce is indeed addictive. I would love to have more than one serving please.
Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant -Dessert
Lastly, dessert is the Chilled Flower Tea Jelly with Rosella Sorbet and Bird’s Nest Custard Puff. The puff is freshly backed from oven. We enjoyed the crumbly crust filled with bird’s nest. And of course the chilled flower tea jelly with rosella sorbet tasted refreshing.
