[SG EATS] Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup 正文志记猪什汤大王 At Foch Road
Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup located at Foch Road and Authentic Mun Chee King of Pig’s Organ Soup located at Jalan Besar both are known for their pig organ soup in Singapore. Both stalls are originated from the same family but they went separate ways with their own regular customers. Pig’s Organ Soup or we called “zhu zha tang 猪什汤” is one of the comfort soup dish in Malaysia and Singapore. It is a traditional Chinese soup from Teochew Origin serving clear soup with mix pig offals.
This is not my first time here and I am back for impromptu dinner with my foodie friends last weekend. Here is the menu for your reference.
We ordered Pig’s Organ Soup S$6.20 (L) to share. You can opt for individual portion priced at S$4.20. The soup comes with lean meat, pork belly, stomach, liver, meatballs, tofu and salted vegetables. Succulent, tender and meaty ingredients filled with rich, clear and robust soupy that goes well with a bowl of white rice. We ordered 2 bowls of rice to share among 3 of us. Shiok!
And my friend loves egg so she ordered 1 Black Vinegar Egg S$0.80 to go with her rice.
And for S$3.00, the portion of Stir-fried Cabbage is quite generous I would say so.
Lastly, we also ordered Steamed Minced Meat with Chestnut S$2.00 topped with braised peanuts . It is quite a steal!
Total bill was S$13.20 inclusive of two bowls of white rice. We queued to order and payment required to made upon serving. And do take note that the payment mode is by cash. Be sure you bring cash along when you visit here. I would recommend here for a bowl of homely and comforting Pig’s Organ Soup 猪什汤 in Singapore. It is best to have it during rainy days too. They are on online delivery platform as well.
