[SG EATS] Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant At PARKROYAL On Beach Road – ‘Treats From The Heart’ Weekend A La Carte Dim Sum Buffet
Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at PARKROYAL On Beach Road launches it’s 点点心意 ‘Treats from the Heart’ Weekend A La Carte Dim Sum Buffet, which is available for a limited time from 3 July to 27 September 2020. The buffet is applicable only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 11:30AM to 2:00PM.
The special brunch menu features unlimited servings of classic Cantonese, as well as Sichuan dim sum, appetizers, nourishing soups and desserts (including two Western-style sweets), alongside single-serving of exquisitely prepared premium dim sum specialties. There are also unlimited servings of freshly prepared dim sum items that will be bought to the table via a dim sum cart.
We kick start with their appetizers featuring Chilled Chicken with Mala sauce, Sliced Pork in Garlic and Chilli Sauce, Cucumber with Black Vinegar and Soya Sauce, Sliced Pig Ear in Sichuan Pepper Sauce, Long Beans in Ginger Sauce, and Marinated Black Fungus with Chilli Padi.
Next, we had the 9 exquisitely-prepared dim sum specialities with one serving of each per person. Featuring the Steamed Sea Urchin ‘Siew Mai’,Deep-Fried Fluffy Swan Pastry with Foie Gras, Baked Abalone BBQ Pork Pastry, Steamed Crabmeat Xiao Long Bao, Steamed Lobster Dumpling, Steamed Mushroom Bun with Minced Chicken, Steamed Scallop Dumpling, Steamed Dumpling with Seafood in Clear Soup, Baked Mini Egg Tart with Bird’s Nest. Using all premium ingredients, each single dim sum is a piece of artwork and instagram-worthy too.
The Steamed Dumpling with Seafood in Clear Soup is indeed a huge dumpling with generous seafood filling in it.
Also, instead of the regular siew mai, their Steamed ‘Siew Mai’ with Sea Urchin definitely level ups the taste.
My friend was apparently excited to see the mushroom-shape dim sum. It was her first time trying it and she was surprised that it is a soft bun that comes with mushroom fillings.
And not to miss their Baked Mini Egg Tart with Bird’s Nest that served with generous serving of delicacy on top of the egg tart.
Other than the premium selection, they also serve 26 choices of unlimited servings including Pan-fried Minced Meat Dumpling with Chives, Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, Minced Meat Glutinous Rice Dumpling wrapped in Banana Leaf, Minced Meat Dumpling with Sour and Spicy Sauce, Mini Pancake with Crispy Chicken Floss, Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles and Hot and Sour Vermicelli. There are so many selections and you can check the full list from their digital menu by scanning the QR code displayed on the table.
There is also soup selection available including Double-Boiled Black Chicken with Ginseng Soup, Boiled Tomato Soup with Giant Garoupa Fillet and Wolfberries and Boiled Spare Ribs Soup with Golden Mushrooms, Bean Curd and Preserved Capscium.
Lastly, enjoy their signature Homemade Fine Bean Curd with Hasma or go for the western-style dessert- Passionfruit Raspberry Chocolate and Coffee Noir Orange Mousse. They also offer mini Pumpkin Pancake in a dainty presentation.
