White Rose Cafe of York Hotel Singapore launches ‘Flavours of Asian Rice Bowls’ promotion inspired by the myriad flavours, textures, and taste of contemporary rice bowls. The grain bowls are curated by Executive Chef Ho Chan Fei and his team. Each bowl is priced at S$16.00++ and available from now till 30 November 2020 for lunch, dinner and takeaway. They also offer complimentary parking for all dine-in guests.
1. Truffle Yaki Salmon Fillet

The Japanese-style grain bowl consists of salmon fillet with quinoa, sauteed hon shimeiji, edamame beans, Japanese pickles, onsen egg, shredded roasted shredded nori, scallion and truffle yaki sauce.

2. Healthy ‘Vegan-licious’

The rice bowl consists of black olive fried rice, kimchi, cucumber strips, corn kernel, stir-fry hon shimeiji, deep-fried beancurd with oriental sauce, marinated black fungus and cherry tomato.

3. Grilled Minute Steak

Grilled steak with quinoa, broccoli, sauteed roasted pumpkin, sweet corn, red cabbage slaw and tomato salsa.




4. Pan-Roasted Lemongrass Pork Chop

Get a taste of Thai food with the nicely pan-roasted lemongrass pork chop with black olive fried rice, wok-fried chopped beans with chilli, vegetable pickles, fried egg, lime wedge, thai basil and nam prik sauce.

5. Korean Grain Bowl

For Korean food, try this that comes with brown rice, 2 pieces of chicken drumlet, edamame breans, roasted pumpkin, kimchi, deep-fried bean curd, capsicum, onsen egg, scallions and Korean Chogochujang dipping sauce.

6. Roasted Chicken Thigh in Thai Style
This comes with brown rice, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, cherry tomato, lime wedge and spicy chilli dressing.

If you are working nearby, head over to try their grain bowls. My personal favourite bowls are Healthy ‘Vegan-licious’ and Truffle Yaki Salmon Fillet. Their pan-roasted lemongrass pork chop is pretty good too. The dipping sauces for each bowl are served separately.


Apart from the grain bowls, diners can also order a la carte dishes and I would recommend their Chicken Satay or Calamari. Both are quite addictive in flavours.
