Feng Xiang Klang Bak Kut Teh is another Malaysian-style bak kut teh to go if you are missing it. The stall is started by Malaysians who grew up in Klang. Feng Xiang Klang Bak Kut Teh has two outlets, and we went to the one at Beauty World Centre. You can find their first outlet at Kallang. Details will be at the end of the post.We visited the stall around 6pm and just in time to witness the beautiful sunset from the top of the building. Watch the view from here.

We ordered the dry and soup version of bak kut te h to try. It comes with 2 sizes, and we ordered the small version. S$6.90 (S) for Herbal Bak Kut Teh Soup and S$7.90 for Bak Kut Teh Dry. I would say for this size, the serving is generous. For the soup version, it comes with tender pork ribs, mushrooms, bean curd puffs and beancurd skin.Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh-Herbal Bak Kut Teh-1Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh-Herbal Bak Kut Teh

For dry version, it comes with rich thick dark sauce and big chunk of meat. Beautiful dark savory mess! Tender meat and the sauce are thick. However, I still prefer Jia Bin version as this lack of shredded cuttlefish fragrance but my friend said it is just nice. So ya everyone has their own taste preferences.

We also ordered Sliced Pork Fried Porridge S$5.90 . My first try on Fried Porridge was from Old World Bak Kut Teh and I was looking forward to try this.  Golden brown, creamy and comforting dish with the hints of smokiness from the wok. Shiok! The dish is topped with fried lard, dried cuttlefish and fried shallots for texture and flavours. They also offers variety toppings such as abalone, mixed pig’s organ, prawns and more.

Complementary side dishes are available to complete your meal experience. Dishes include You Tiao, Braised Pig’s Trotter, Braised Egg, Fried Large Intestine and more.

If you are into herbal soup, you can try out their Herbal Seafood Series as well. This is one of the recommended Malaysian-style bak kut te h in Singapore. I will be back for their fried porridge and the view of course.

Our total bill was S$22.40 inclusive of one white rice $0.70. Payment available in cash and PAYNOW.
