[SG EATS] Honbo Burger – Smashed Burger from Hong Kong Opens at Chijmes | Singapore
Honbo located at Chijmes, Singapore is the first overseas outpost by the home-grown burger joint in Hong Kong. The burger restaurant first opened in 2017 along Sun Street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The brand’s unique rendition of American-style burgers crafted in-house by hand and fresh ingredients. Expect to enjoy the banquette seats and high stool counter seats when you dine in their Chijmes outlet.
The menu is straightforward and consists of burgers, sides, and drinks. Honbo’s beef is ground fresh daily in-house, with each patty smashed on a flattop griddle upon order. They also have exclusively imported their own USDA Double Gold Beef directly from Wisconsin, USA. Using premium beef and sourced from 36-month-old Holstein and Angus breed cattle that are fed with finest corn that yields a deeper depth of flavour.

Honbo 1.5- S$23.00
Honbo 1.5 is an upsized of the signature Honbo that comes with three beef patties, two cheese slices, pickles, onions, and house sauce. Loving the texture of the beef and not densely packed together. The burger is packed with flavours with each bite. Shiok!
Burgers are pretty good, especially the beef patties. If you are a fan of beef burger, give Honbo a try. The prices are on the higher side as compared to other established artisanal burgers though. Don’t forget to try it with their in-house Flagrant Smash Sauce to elevate your taste.
