Tokyo Sundubu offers a type of Korean stew with handmade tofu and different ingredients such as chicken or beef, asari clams and shrimps. The tofu was rich in soy isoflavones, soft and smooth but the stew soup was mild in taste to suit the local taste. It would be best if the stew taste is richer in flavour though. The Lamb Mushroom Sundubu is priced at S$19.00++ will be available in June 2016 while the Wagyu Beef Tendon Sundubu S$22.00++ will only be available from July 2016 onwards.

Next, we have the Rich Collagen Miso Ramen & Dinosaur Chicken S$17.50++. The miso broth was thick and creamy in flabour while the grilled chicken meat wrapped around the ajitama; soft boiled egg was nicely done on point. It’s a new kind of ramen presentation and quite a visual feast too.

If you ever been to Enbu, you will know Enbu specialize in grilling with straws and charcoal grill that enhances the smoky fragrance. They have launched Izakaya lunch sets with prices starting from S$14.00++. Here are what you can expect that comes with a bowl of white rice, miso soup and a Japanese dressing salad.
Enbu Grilled Original Chicken Pattie with Ponzu Sauce S$15.00++
The chicken pattie was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside.
Breaded Chicken Cutlet with Original Sea Urchin Sauce S$18.00++
Breaded chicken cutlet was deep-fried into golden crispy and it goes well with the sauce.
Breaded Skewered Pork Cutlet with Original Sea Urchin Sauce S$20.00++
Although it looks nice, I find that the pork cutlet meat was quite dry and hard to chew. I would prefer the chicken Pattie instead of this though.

Following the craze of cheese tarts, Nigiro Café has come up with their own version of Baked Churros Cheese Tart S$4.80++. The dessert filled with oozing cheese sandwich between the tart and churros on the top. The cheese taste was rich in flavour but the tart crust was too soft to hold well of the cheese.
