[SG EATS] PLENTYFULL MILLENIA WALK- HEARTY FOOD CONCEPT DELIGHTS YOUR TASTE BUDS
Plentyfull located at Millenia Walk is the latest addition F&B outlet. An all-day restaurant with dual concept, patisserie, gourmet grocer and more. Most of the food here is made from scratch and they don’t even own a can-opener. So, dining at Plentyfull is akin to enjoying a home-cooked meal away from home.As we stepped into the restaurant, the grocer retail section on the left side and the pastries and desserts display counter on the right side. They have a spacious dining area with a modern industrial décor which enhance the whole dining experience.
I visited the restaurant few days ago for a dinner session and here are the dishes that I had:
Huajio Winglets S$8.00++
Mid-joints with crispy texture and Sichuan spiced salt over it. I thought it will be spicy but turned out manageable.
Plentyfull fries S$12.00++
Humble russet potatoes shaved, stacked, steamed and fried. Interesting with multiple thin layers of potatoes stacked on top of one another. Kudos to the chef’s effort for the process of delivering such delightful snack. I am hooked with it.
Tofu Caprese S$14.00++
Silken tofu dressed in yuzu soy dressing with plum tomatoes, shallot and seeds. I am feeling healthy eating this dish. The dressing and the plum tomatoes are definitely a wow factor to yearn for more.
House-Smoked Mussels on Toast S$24.00++
One of the signature dish and also my favourite dish of the night. House-smoked mussels with charred scallion yoghurt and kimchi tomatoes. We were told that this is the dish that won the heart of the chef’s wife. No wonder it stole the wife’s heart as the toast is fluffy with the smoky flavour mussels on top of it. Love every bites and texture of the dish.
Miso Gratinated Aubergine S$16.00++
Charred aubergine gratinated with Saikyo miso on cabbage slaw. The inside is soft and creamy with a touch of miso. However, I personally felt that if the miso taste can be stronger.
Pan-fried Farmed Barramundi S$26.00++
Quick-braised barramundi served with seasonal greens in a yuzu wasabi glaze. A safe to order dish I would say.
Short-Rib Ragu with House-Made Parpadelle S$26.0++
Homemade parpadelle with confit vine tomatoes and pecorino cheese. The parpadelle texture is al-dente and the sauce is flavoursome.
Queen’s Cake S$9.00++
Strawberry sponge layered with rose cream, kychees and raspberries. Perfect for those who loves fruity flavours. The cake is very light sponge and the flavours are mild in taste.
Devil’s Food Cake S$9.00++
Devil’s food sponge layered with valrhona dark chocolate ganache. Chocolate lovers you are in treat! Rich and moisture dark chocolate sponge cake.
S’mores Tart S$8.00++
The combination of marshmallows and chocolate works wonder.
Monkey Cake S$9.00++
Fanciful banana chocolate cake.
Overall I enjoyed the dining ambience and also the food served here. I could foresee visiting them for their brunch and day time menu. As for the pricing wise, I think it is quite reasonable considering the restaurant located at the city area. Hit and misses but definitely back for their desserts!
