During my visit to Penang few weeks ago, my friend bought me to this famous shop serves Koay Teow Soup that uses local eels to make the fishball. As we parked the car at the opposite direction, I looked up at the shop signage. It was faded and not clear at all but tourists and customers seem to find their way here to try the food. I was staying at Golden Sands Resorts Penang during Hari Raya Haji and decided to have dinner at one of the restaurants, Sigi’s Bar & Grill On the Beach for dinner.Sunset at Batu Ferringhi beach was indeed a sight to behold. It has been 2 years since my last visit to Penang and I was there over the weekend. I met my Penang friend who came to pick me from the airport and headed for breakfast. He brought me to Kong Thai Lai coffeeshop located in Hutton Lane, Georgetown. This is one of the oldest traditional Hainanese coffeeshop that has 100 over years of history. ( 3 generations and on-going). While Toh Soon Café located at Campbell Street was crowded with tourists, I am glad that we are here for kaya toast and kopi instead without even queuing. Read More

The Replacement Lodge & Kitchen café is well-known in Johor Bahru café scene as well as one of the favourite cafe lists for Singaporeans. Within a walking distance from JB checkpoint City Square mall, the café serves all-day brunch starting from 10:00am. The spacious café is highly regarded as instagram-worthy spot due to the kinfolk alike theme and rustic wooden furniture. So, it’s the Ramadan month again! Thanks to Care Luxury Hotels & Resorts, I get to be one of the few that attended the cocktail lunch event sometime back at Hotel Granada. Hotel Granada is located within a walking distance from AEON Jusco Taman Bukit Indah. For those who are travelling from Singapore, you can take bus from Tuas checkpoint to get here.
