Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant (家味) located at Level 2 of Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy is a contemporary Chinese restaurant with a modern take on their interior space. The restaurant offers variety of dishes that are best suit for families and big group diners. Uptown Nasi Lemak at Telok Ayer Coffeeshop is opened by two Malaysians who grew up in Damansara Uptown, Malaysia. Online reviews mentioned that they are unable to find the same taste of Malaysian nasi lemak in Singapore. Thus, they decided to recreate the taste and dish here. SAKEMARU Artisan Sake Hideout is nestled in a shophouse along South Bridge Road is a Japanese restaurant started by the group behind SAKEMARU in early 2021. SAKEMARU is a sake subscription service in Singapore. The restaurant features curated collection of over 300+ type of sake with food menu that is available in ala carte and omakase options. Mid-Autumn Festival 2021 (滨海花园庆’k) at Gardens by the Bay launched on 15 September 2021 with a light-up of the showstopper lantern set Sky Lanterns (ff福)T), where 70 lanterns float up the Supertrees at the Gardens’ main entrance. At 32m wide and 19m tall, Sky Lanterns is the largest lantern set this year. Inspired by the eponymous Chinese lanterns that are traditionally released to the sky in hopes of good blessings, Sky Lanterns represents the theme of this year’s festival – blessings (ff福).
