My first dining experience with Fu Lin Men Dou Lao was with media tasting. I am back here again with E for dinner. It was his first visit here and all I can say is it was definitely a pleasant dining experience. Fu Lin Men (which symbolises fortune bestowed upon one’s home) Dou Lao located at North Canal Road is founded by orthopaedic specialist and senior researcher, Professor Zhang Min from the costal province of Zhe Jiang. Fu Lin Men Dou Lao Restaurant was started in April 2015 by Professor Zhang and former banker, Simon Lim. I was invited to tasting with fellow foodie bloggers last Sunday for dinner session. Finally! I tried the famous HaiDiLao last week with my foodie friends. HaiDiLao is known with their excellent service, quality foods and long waiting time. We tried to call to make reservation for the outlet at 313 Somerset but it is not allowed. Thus, one of the group, Nikki went around 4pm to secure the dinner table for 7pm. 海底捞火锅 HaiDiLao is a popular restaurant chain in China with origins in Sichuan since 1994.
