I stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown during my weekend trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is strategically located walking distance to the famous Petaling Street. If you are planning for Desaru trip, do drive another 30 minutes to Sungai Rengit for live lobsters and seafood feast. Since we were heading to Desaru, we decided to visit Jade Garden Seafood Restaurant for lunch before check-in to Westin Desaru Coast. The restaurant has moved to a bigger space with air-conditioned now. They also cater outdoor dining space with seascape view as well. It has been years since I last visit Sungai Rengit. I also noticed that there are so many seafood restaurants to choose from now.

Chew Seafood Garden Restaurant, formerly known as Matang Seafood View located opposite KSL Mall in Johor Bahru offers fresh seafood porridge and other seafood dishes with affordable pricing. Chee Cheong Fun stall located at Canning Garden, Ipoh was well-known by the locals away from the tourist hubs. Chee Cheong Fun, or we called it steamed rice noodles are known for breakfast choice by the locals. After so many years, I am back to Hwa Mei Ah Bee Bak Kut Teh 华美亞B肉骨茶 with my foodie friend for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
