I am back to Opus Bar & Grill at Hilton Singapore to check out their new menu recently. In celebration of its fourth birthday, Opus Bar & Grill will be giving diners a complimentary bottle of premium red wine worth $90.00 when ordering any of their sharing steak priced from S$128.00++. The steaks are carefully hand-selected from Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.
The premium sharing cuts are dramatic, bone-in show stoppers and platters that showcase a variety of textures and flavours. Each of cooked over an open-flame grill using charcoals and sustainable Jarrah wood to achieve the perfect char, and smoky caramelized flavours.
Here are the choices of Opus Premium Sharing Cuts and Platters that serve two:
(a) Signature 1kg U.S. Black Angus bone-in rib eye, dry-aged, marble score 4
(b) 1kg Australian Black Angus Porterhouse, marble score 4
(c) Wagyu & Lobster of 500g Australian Wagyu Sirloin and MSC-certified Boston Lobster
(d) 1kg whiskey-aged Australian F1 Wagyu Tomahawk, 300 days grain-fed, marble score 5
(e) Premium Butcher’s Platter of 600g U.S. Black Angus bone-in rib eye, 150g Wagyu rump cap, braised grain-fed Wagyu beef short rib and gourmet beef sausages
(f) 600g New Zealand roasted tenderloin
The offer is valid for the month of March and available from Sundays until Thursdays.
Expect for new A La Carte menu with innovative grilled dishes when you dine in Opus Bar & Grill. The seafood ingredients used are labelled with the eco-label in the menu are prepared with seafood sources that are sustainably caught. We tried one of the new dish that night- Seared Atlantic scallops with butternut squash puree, pumpkin seeds and basil S$22.00++.
Standout specialities include this Crab cake with premium lump crab meat, celeriac remoulade and pink grapefruit S$18.00++. Others include 600g Grilled butterflied spring chicken, 300g New Zealand Lamb Porterhouse, 300g DeRaza Iberico Pork Rack and Hand-cut steak tartare with French fries.
And new premium sides are available for add-on to complement the grilled dishes. I would recommend the Opus-Over-The-Top Fries drizzled with foie gras fat, truffle oil and shaved Parmesan. It was simply sinful and satisfying! Other premium sides include seared foie gras, twice-baked Idaho Cheddar potatoes and scallions, tempura Vidalia onion rings and more.
