[SG EATS] Celebrate Autumn with Man Man Unagi & Tendon Kohaku – Seasonal Dishes

Man Man Unagi & Tendon Kohaku , the two specialist restaurants joined hands to open a collaborative dining concept at Clark Quay Central. I shared about this place on my previous post here. So, I am back here again to check out their seasonal offerings.

Man Man Unagi-Buttery Charred Foie Gras Hitsumabushi with Black Truffle Flakes
Man Man Unagi Clark Quay-Buttery Charred Foie Gras Hitsumabushi with Black Truffle Flakes
For Man Man Unagi, they are going to launch the Buttery Charred Foie Gras Hitsumabushi with Black Truffle Flakes S$39.80++ starting from 16 October to 31 December 2019. The exquisite foie gras imported from France is charcoal grilled and paired with restaurant’s grilled eel and topped with flakes of Himalaya black truffles. Lastly,it is drizzled with truffle oil for extra fragrance to complete the dish. My friends and I enjoyed the combination and we secretly wished for second bowl. Although each ingredients flavours are strong, the combination works wonder. The truffles are not overpowering at all. I personally think the price is reasonable considering the ingredients used are quite premium.

Tendon Kohaku Autumn Menu
Tendon Kohaku is back with its Autumn tendon , Hokkaido Autumn Salmon S$17.00++. Two pieces of salmon are sandwiched with a layer of Hokkaido cheese and tempura. The autumn ingredients include maple leaf, sweet potato, shiitake mushroom, enoki mushroom, chestnut and thin slices of lotus root fried to perfection. And the bowl is garnished with aromatic chrysanthemum flowers.
This offering will be available at all Tendon Kohaku outlets from 16 October to 30 November 2019.
