Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium Ramadan Buffet back in action. It is happening from 12 April to 16 May 2021 with FREE flow Korean food in the mix. The buffet is available for lunch on Wednesdays to Sundays and dinners from Thursdays to Sundays. Let me share with you more about the buffet line for this year edition.
There are over 40 items on the menu including fresh seafood, appetizers ,sashimi, local delights, Malay classics, and many more.
We started our dinner with seafood on ice with the choice of seafood includes scallops, mussels and prawns. Each diner is also given one time serving of 6 fresh oysters.
Next, we also ordered their signatures including the crispy housemade fresh Roti Prata that comes with chicken curry, chicken rice and pipping hot laksa upon request. All these local delights are must-have dishes when you dine in here. I have been here for few times and the quality consistency for these are definitely there.
For the Malay dishes, indulge in Ayam Masak Merah , Ikan Assam Pedas, Beef Rendang, Assam Fish and many more. Ramadan Specials include Roasted Leg of Lamb, Chicken Shawarma and Gado Gado. My friend preferred the Assam Pedas that comes in boneless fish fillets cooked in curry and tamarind with balance of tanginess and sweetness. As for me, I enjoyed the Beef Rendang packed with flavours and Ayam Masak Merah that comes in juicy chicken chunks cooked in sweet tomato sauce, ginger and dried chillis.
As for Korean section, you can look forward to free-flow Korean dishes include Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken Stew, Spicy Squid, Kimchi Seafood Fried Rice and Pajeon (Korean pancake). The Korean dishes were nicely executed in terms of texture and flavours but I thought the spiciness can be elevated further. I also enjoyed the Korean pancake that comes with sweet sesame chilli sauce for dipping. Nevertheless, the flavours are family-friendly where kids can enjoy most of the dishes especially Beef Bulgogi soaked with sweet bulgogi sauce.
Complete your buffet experience with their desserts like variety of traditional kuehs, Durian Pengat, Chendol, Traditional Ice-Cream with Bread or Waffles. It is like the daily serving of nostalgia feeling from the childhood favorite snacks.
Be sure to come with empty stomach when you head over to Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium’s Ramadan Buffet 2021 for the scrumptious spread. Muslim friends can also use the prayer room available at the hotel. This is definitely an added advantage for Muslim diners as it brings convenience to them.
