[SG EATS] NAUGHTY NURI – THE FAMOUS PORK RIBS FROM BALI TO SINGAPORE
Oh well..It has been a while since I had dinner with my sister. So, we had an impromptu dinner at Naughty Nuri located at Capitol Piazza which is a walking distance from City Hall MRT station. If you notice, the space was previously occupied by Zaku (Japanese Sumiyaki Restaurant) and just next to Dazzling Café. Naughty Nuri has been known with their signature pork ribs for those who been to Bali, Indonesia. I have spotted them at Johor Bahru last year and yet to give it a try. So, here we are approaching the restaurant on Friday night without any reservation. Thankfully, there are seats for two of us.
Once we are seated, menu is served on the table. We put our hands up and placed order for our dinner. The serving time was within 20 minutes time which is quite a standard timing for all restaurants.
Signature Pork Ribs – Half Rack S$18.80 / Full Rack S$35.80

We ordered the half rack pork ribs to share. The pork ribs are marinated in Balinese spices and glazed on charcoal with asian BBQ sauce. The pork rib was tender and the meat was fell off from the bone without much effort. It has the stickiness, sweet and savoury taste by its own.
Nasi Goreng S$11.80
The asian flavour nasi goreng served in Naughty Nuri is different. They served fried brown and white rice with charred chicken, prawns, sunny side up, keropok and achar. The chard chicken served in a skewer tasted sweet and savory reminds me of chicken satay. I am not a fan of the combination of fried brown and white rice so I find it a bit tad dry. Nevertheless, it is quite a flavourful dish with the combination of different ingredients in a plate.
We also ordered drinks to complete our meal. The total bill was S$50.50 that inclusive of 10% service charge and 7% GST. I thought that if the service staff could be more attentive on their customers. It was a pleasant dinner but we are quite uncomfortable when the service staff came and took away the empty plate without asking assuming that we are done. Even if we are done, we expect that the service staff would be courtesy enough to ask first before clearing it.
