Plaza Brasserie is offering the Ultimate Crab Feast from Sundays to Wednesdays. On top of the buffet spread, diners will get to enjoy an extensive spread of crab delights. There will be unlimited servings of crab including the hot favourites and new creations by Executive Chef Ang and his team. So, what are the 5 crab delights that you can expect from the buffet?
1. Salted Egg Crab
This dish has a rich and creamy golden salted egg yolk sauce fully coated on the crab. To enjoy it, suck the meat and enjoy the salted egg yolks coated taste. It is finger-licking good.
2. Ginger Hua Tiow Crab

The dish has the strong and fragrant ginger hua tiow broth with fleshy crab meat. This broth tasted light and comforting. The best part is that I can have more than a bowl of the soup.
3. Singapore Chilli Crab
The signature Singapore chilli crab is definitely in the buffet list. The thick chilli sauce dipped with mantou buns will definitely never go wrong.
4. Cereal Crab
Cereal crab is also one of the hot favourites among the locals. Crunchy cereal goes pretty well with seafood dishes. And the cereal crabs here are nicely cooked and not overly buttery. It enhances the texture of the dish.
5. Black Pepper Crab
If you are into strong flavour, try their black pepper crab. It gives the aromatic but not pungent taste of the black pepper.
6. Curry Crabmeat Kueh Pie Tee
I tried the usual Kueh Pie Tee but this is quite interesting. Instead of stuffing the usual ingredients into the cup, chef decided to stuff it with curry crab meat. It was satisfying and addictive at the same time.
7. Sambal Petai Crab
This is an acquired taste because not everyone eats petai. The combination surprisingly works well. Sambal and bitter petai beans enhance the flavours of the juicy crab meat.
Apart from the savoury crab delights, there are hot dishes, sashimi, sushi, and porridge to explore. And of course the dessert station with mini-bite size cakes selection. I wish I have extra tummy space to try other dishes. I will be back to check out their buffet spreads.
