Few weeks ago I was invited for a tasting session at O Batignolles, which is located within a walking distance from Telok Ayer MRT station. The restaurant is a French restaurant and bar amidst the vibrant buzz of Club Street. I was there in on Monday evening after work and was surprised to see the restaurant was almost full house. Usually for Mondays, the restaurants business will be pretty slow but not here at Ô Batignolles.  I was here for their latest range of French Tapas that are best enjoyed with a glass or two of the fine French wine. It is best to chill and enjoy delightful company over tapas and wines. Their tapas here are available from S$9.00++ onwards.

Cheese Platter
 Ô Batignolles has quite a variety of cheeses imported from France. Diners get to pick the gourmet cheeses and serve with artisanal cold cuts.And it comes with complimentary breads as well.Splendid!




Croque-Monsieur –S$20.00++
 Ham & cheese toasted bread and béchamel sauce. Bechamel sauce is actually one of the mother sauces of French cuisines. This is like hearty daily grind in the menu.

Smoked Salmon & Avocado – S$22.00++
 Smoked salmon and avocado served on slices of pollane bread. It is a kind of traditional French bread.

Mini Burger – S$24.00++
 Mini burger bites served with morbier cheese. Yummy!

Hanger Beef – S$26.00++
 The beef slices served with bordelaise sauce. The sauce is a classic French sauce and it goes pretty well with the medium-rare meat.

Crème Brulee –S$9.00++
Crème Brulee with rich vanilla Custard base topped with a contrasting later of hard caramel.

Chocolate Truffon S$10.00++
 Love the intense cacao chocolate goodness and also the crunchy bites.
