[SG EATS] Tiong Bahru Bakery – More Than Just Bread & Breakfast
Tiong Bahru Bakery is known with its freshly made pastries and a local brand of Singapore. The bakery café has expanded throughout the years and recently they have launched new dinner menu. However, the dinner menu is available exclusively at the Raffles City Shopping Centre outlet.
Follow me through my post as I shared some of the dishes I tried:
1. PB&B Pancake Burger S$23.00++
Stacky pancakes served with spiced pork belly, salted caramel topped with toasty brulee bananas, ricotta cheese and sprinkled with crunchy peanuts and sweet maple syrup. With all the combination ingredients, it gives the sweet-savoury in taste.
2. Kim Cheesy Pancake Burger S$23.00++
A fusion dish using kimchi pancakes with sweet bean sauce stuffed in between tofu along with sautéed cabbage, green onions, crispy bread crumbs and smoked bonito flakes. It has similarity with okonomiyaki especially the generous serving of smoked bonito flakes.
3. Rainbow Rice Bowl 2.0 S$22.00++
Colourful colours just like the name of the dish. The rice bowl comes with crispy cucumber, avocado, pea shoots, toasted almonds and chorizo, a mix of brown and wild rice, romesco sauce and organic NZ sunny-side-up egg. Mix all together and you are good to go. Definitely a filling and hearty dish.
4. French Onion Burger S$23.00++
Molasses buns stuffed with two house-made pork and beef patties, caramelised crispy and sweet onions, bacon jam, and scallion aioli along with French fries. You can get pretty messy with the hands.
5. No Fuss Yummy Chicken Fusilli S$19.00++
This fusilli pasta served with tender and chunky chicken thigh ragu with mixed local mushrooms, sharp parmesan and fresh basil.
Tiong Bahru Bakery’s dinner menu is available from 5:00pm – 9:15pm on weekdays and 9:00AM-9:15PM on weekends.
