[SG EATS] Toby’s The Dessert Asylum At Tradehub 21 – Kids’ Friendly Café

I finally visited Toby’s The Dessert Asylum located at TradeHub 21 along Boon Lay Way with my sister and nephews. The restaurant was previously located at Parkway Parade if you find the name familiar.

We settled down and ordered some dishes to try. Here we go:
Battered Button Mushroom S$6.50Tobys The Dessert Asylum-Battered Button Mushroom
We kick start with starter and this is superb addictive. It comes with the tartar dip.

Smoked Duck Pizza S$16.90Tobys The Dessert Asylum -Smoked Duck Pizza

I was told that this is one of the best-seller pizza. Thin crusted pizza with generous popiah skin scattered on top of the chunks of smoked duck slices and shiitake mushrooms. Even my nephew loves it.

Chicken Cordon Bleu S$18.90Tobys The Dessert Asylum -Chicken Cordon Bleu

This is also highly recommended with the outer layer of crispy bread crumbs and piping hot mozzarella cheese flows out after the cut. There are chicken and ham coated with cheese that goes well with orange lemon butter sauce. Sinful and yet satisfying dish!

Stewed Pork Spaghetti S$14.90Tobys The Dessert Asylum -Stewed Pork Spaghetti
This is rather interesting dish I would say. Instead the usual bacons, they used stewed pork served with light cream sauce.

Molten Lava S$11.90Tobys The Dessert Asylum -Molten Lava
Chocolate lava cake served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. This is perfect to end our hearty meal.

We had an enjoyable meal at Toby’s especially my nephews. The staffs are friendly and they also provide a corner for kids to do colouring. The staff will provide a sheet of drawing paper and the kids can sit down to do colouring. Balloons are given to the kids as well. This is rather family-oriented concept here. The food portions are generous with affordable pricing. And kids get to dine free if they have the Toby’s kids membership card.
The only downside is the location I guess. It is quite inaccessible although it is good to be away from the hustle city or even neighbourhood areas. You still need to drive in though.
