[SG EATS] Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Promotion At Morganfield’s
Morganfield’s is back with new promotion. They are launching Mother’s Day & Father’s Day promotion from 30th April to 24th June 2018. I was invited for the media tasting recently to check out the promotion.
Starting off with Loaded Chili Nachos S$13.90++ . Corn tortilla chips baked with cheese, topped with delicious chilli concarne and chunks of tender pulled ribs served with a dollop of sour cream.
Next, we ordered Golden Fried Wings S$12.90++ . The chicken wings marinated with a secret recipe then fried till crispy goodness. This is best to go with a glass of beer.
Moving on is the promotion dish- Candied Peach BBQ Sticky Bones- Half Slab S$29.90++ | Full Slab S$46.90++ .
This is available for the month of May , which is also the Mother’s Day celebration. This is created specially for the ladies with the juicy peaches on top of the sweet and tangy sauce over the ribs.
Then we have the Smokey Bacon Bourbon Sticky Bones- Half Slab S$29.90++ | Full Slab S$46.90++
This is available for June onwards and the ribs come with hearty, rich and smoky sauce infused with bourbon, hand-chopped bacon bits and topped with strips of delicious candied bacon. This was my favourite that night.
We ended our meal with a sweet note. Bread Pudding S$11.90++ and Chocolate Brownie S$13.90++. Both are served warm along with a scoop of ice-cream. If you are a fan of chocolate, try out their sinful chocolate brownie dessert.
Morganfield’s also tapping two new craft beers to complement their new sauces. SweetWater Blue and Bridge Road Robust Peter. The SweetWater Blue is kinda refreshing, light and easy to drink. As for the Bridge Road Robust Peter, the taste is kinda bitter for my preference. It has the roasted barley and chocolate malts in it.
