My last visit to Coffee Lounge for their Taiwan Porridge at Goodwood Park Hotel was few years back with my colleague. I am glad to be back to savour their traditional Taiwan Porridge fare this time. The well-loved Taiwan Porridge is the signature offering at Coffee Lounge since its inception in 1984.





Diners can opt for a la carte menu or a la carte buffet. The a la carte menu is available for lunch and dinner, offering an extension selection of over 40 traditional and wholesome a la carte dishes that are best savoured with light rice and sweet potato porridge. Highlights on the menu include Sauteed Chicken with Dried Chilli S$14.00++ , Braised Pork Belly with Dark Soy Sauce S$15.00++, Chilled Beancurd in Japanese Soya Sauce & Pork Floss S$12.00++, Deep-fried Pomfret in ‘Feng Sha’ Style S$28.00++, Fried Omelette with Chye Poh S$10.00++, Stir-fried Kang Kong with Sambal S$11.00++ and Baby Squid in Sweet Oyster Sauce S$11.00++.




Or diners can enjoy Taiwan Porridge A La Carte Buffet priced at S$39.00++ per adult, S$19.50++ per child which offers, for lunch and dinner. There is unlimited orders from a selection of 30 perennial favourites from the a la carte menu, as well as dessert buffet spread comprising of cakes, ‘nyonya kueh’, local desserts and ice-cream to choose from.

Top up S$2.50++ per person to enjoy unlimited portions of rice and sweet potato porridge or steamed rice.


And for durian lovers, dessert buffet will feature a line-up of decadent D24 durian pastries in addition to the usual spread from 4 May to 14 July 2019. Priced at S$59.80++ per adult, S$36.00++ per child except for 4-5 and 11-12 May.
What to expect from the dessert buffet?





‘Live’ pancake station with luxurious D24 durian filling to the new D24 Pandan Lapis Coconut cake and D24 Chendol Pudding are available. And of course the all time favourites-D24 Mousse Cake, D24 puff are included as well.
