[SG EATS] Grissini’s New Menu At Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

I am back to Grissini at Grand Coprhorne Waterfront Hotel recently to check out their newly launched menu. You can read my previous post here. Here is a recap about the name of the restaurant Grissini, which means ‘breadsticks’ in Italian is a contemporary Italian dining restaurant.

Here are the dishes I tried during the dinner tasting with Grissini.
Grissini New Menu-Grand Copthorne Waterfront
First, we have the Sour Cream Panna Cotta with caviar and chives sprinkled on top as amuse-bouche. Beautifully plated on the spoon and it is well-balanced in flavours to kick start the meal.

Grissini New Menu-Grand Copthorne Waterfront-Avocado Tuna Tartare
Next, we have the Tuna Tartare which is my favourite dish. Smooth avocado puree with raw tuna marinated with soy sauce finished off with sundried tomato to enhance the flavours of the dish. The avocado puree has the buttery and creamy texture that pairs well with the marinated raw tuna. The portion served is quite generous for an appetizer.

Grissini New Menu-Grand Copthorne Waterfront-Pasta
Black Ink Tonnarelli pasta with tomato based sauce. If you are a tomato based sauce lover, you can check this out. The pasta is served al dente and comes with wild Mediterranean langoustine served with the body de-shelled.

Grissini New Menu-Grand Copthorne Waterfront-1
Seabream Fillet is prepared using Josper oven and served with Sicilian caponata, cream and parsley. Perfectly cooked dish with crispy skin and moisture flesh.

Grissini New Menu-Grand Copthorne Waterfront-Dessert
We wrapped up the dinner with Chocolate Bonet as our dessert. Bonet is a traditional Northen Italian custard-like dessert with pudding texture. It is served with almond crumble and strawberries around it and topped with almond from the amaretti cookie. I enjoyed the cookie very much and this dessert is best for sharing because the portion is way too much for a person.

It was a lovely dinner and glad to catch up with some of the media friends. Grissini is an Italian restaurant suitable for family and friends’ gathering with affordable pricing and generous serving portion. Head over their official website for their updates from time to time.
