[SG EATS] Crossroads At Marriott Singapore Tang Plaza

Crossroads strategically located at the crossroad of Orchard Road is an all-in-one dining place. The alfresco dining place brings East-meets-West concept to life. Guests can expect to indulge in an enticing selection of signature dishes, premium wines and draft beers on tap. They have recently revamped their menu and I am here to check it out.

Here are some of the dishes we tried during the dinner tasting session:

We started off with Cod Fish Croquettes dipped with creamy harissa aioli. It’s a perfect condiment for fried snacks or even grilled vegetables and meat.

Prawn Cocktail S$32.00++ ( One Dozen)

Beautifully plated prawns with homemade cocktail sauce and lemon before we move on to the mains.

Mezze Platter S$24.00++

Mezze is a selection of small dishes served as appetizers in parts of the Middle East and here they served muhammara, hummus, tzatziki, tabbouleh, dolma, marinatedfeta cheese, olives, artichoke and Turkish pita. The platter is meant to have a little something for everyone and be sure to try it with the tender and light Turkish flatbread. Additional pita is available upon request with additional top up.

Wok fried rice noodles with chye sim, mushroom, egg, oyster sauce with sliced beef. This is one of their signature items with premium ingredients used.Thus, this explains the pricing of this dish.

Gourmet burgers are available in the menu. I personally enjoyed the buttermilk fried chicken with red cabbage slaw, gherkins and spicy mayonnaise. The brioche buns are very soft and lightly sweetened with a golden tone. And there is a vegetarian option- Impossible Burger that comes with tomato, cucumber salsa, raita, red onion,arugula and sesame bun.

400-day grain-fed Australian wagyu beef served with red wine jus, black pepper jus or béarnaise sauce.T-Bone is cut from the back of the cow and marbled with lots of flavours boosting fat. Lovely cut and it goes well even without any sauces.

We ended our meal with smooth buttery caramel cheese cake and whipped cream.

Crossroads also offer 6 beers on tap and they also feature local craft brew-Tropical Pale Ale by Archipelago Brewery. There is also a selection of exciting tipples such as Sangria, white or red wine, house spirits, pint of beer at only S$10.00++ per drink, which is available from Monday- Friday ; 11:00AM – 8:00PM.
