My ex-colleague came to visit us for lunch and he suggested Gunther’s Restaurant. Gunther’s Restaurant is one of the best French restaurants in Singapore. It is an award winning restaurant that has been listed among Asia’s Best Restaurants for years. The restaurant is opened by Belgian Chef Gunther Hubrechsen.

We ordered Set Lunch priced at S$38.00++ for our lunch. Once we placed our order, complimentary breads are served.

First up is the appetizer- classic smoked salmon garnished with blinis and fruits. This dish is beautifully plated presentation with zesty flavour. What a good start for the lunch set!

As for my mains, I had coquille pasta, chilli Monte Poro. Angel hair pasta with high quality sauce served al-dente.





Next, we have dessert of the day.

And you can top up S$5.00++ for coffee and tea. We skipped that and the service staff served us with Petit Fours.

Overall we had a pleasant dining experience here. The service staffs are friendly and approachable. The food here was not bad but not memorable either. Nevertheless, their set lunch starts at only S$38.00++, it is quite a deal for such ambience and quality food in town area.
