It’s the time of the year again!PUTIEN’s Oyster Festival is back from 6 November 2020 to 31 March 2021. You can read about the last year’s oyster dishes here.As for this year, they are back with two new dishes and affordable promotion. For a limited time, customers can enjoy any two Oyster Festival dishes at an exclusive bundle price of just S$29.90.
There are a total of 7 Oyster dishes for this year with two new dishes. We tried the two new dishes this time round.

Oyster Pancake S$5.90 for 3pcs
This is a traditional Fujian street snack with special version by PUTIEN’s head chef. Crisp skin of the oyster pancakes are made with rice batter milled from a mixture of pearl rice and organic soyabeans, and each golden brown pancakes is filled with two freshly shucked oysters along with medley of cabbage, celery, chopped green onions, fried garlic, carrots and diced baby shrimps. Do dip it with their in-house dipping sauce for extra flavours. You can also dip it with signature Spice Mum Chilli sauce for extra spicy kick flavour.

Basil Braised OysterThe crispy oysters drizzled in a special sauce blend along with fresh basil leaves that reminds me of Thai Basil Fried Fish dish. It has the similar taste and texture but of course the oysters are softer though. It is best to enjoy with a bowl of rice.
Note:It is priced at S$17.90 at Kitchener Rd, Great World, RWS, ION and Jewel Changi outlets; and S$16.90 at all other outlets!

Other Oyster dishes priced from S$16.90 include Crispy Oyster, Pan-fried Oyster Bee Hoon, PUTIEN Seasoned Fresh Oyster, Seaweed Oyster and Jiangkou Hometown Oyster Soup.

Also, with any oyster dish ordered, customers may enjoy the well-loved ‘ghost’ sake at a special 20% discount, for just S$20.00 (150ml) instead of the usual price of S$25.00 to pair with the seasonal oyster dishes.
