Window on the Park at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is a Halal-certified buffet that offers Asian favourites. For this month of March till 11 April 2021, the restaurant offers not only Asian favourites but also a sumptuous array of seafood as well.
Highlights include their all-new Seafood Combo Bags featuring copious amounts of mud crab and other seafood ingredients. It is available in four flavours include Sichuan Ma La, Singapore Laksa, Black Pepper and Mushroom Cream with Cheese.
My favourite goes to Singapore Laksa flavour with the choice of seafood ingredients I picked from the station. The Sichuan Ma La flavour is not bad too. You can request your spicy level upon ordering. We had the standard ma la and the spicy level is still okay for me. The seafood combo bag is only applicable for one time ordering.
Apart from that, indulge in 30 a-la carte dishes from their local & Asian favourites to complete your buffet experience here. Dishes include Double Boiled Chicken Soup, Spaghetti in Creamy Nyonya Laksa Sauce, Braise Broccoli with Egg White Sauce and Wolfberries, Prawn in Chili Crab Sauce with Golden Mantou, Steamed Fish in Black Bean Sauce, Mee Siam and many more.
Their Sambal Fried Rice with Crackers was definitely a memorable one for me. The aromatic and wok hei sambal fried rice served with prawns and crackers is highly-recommended. Not forgetting their Butter Chicken with Prata.
Indulge in local favourites like Fruit Rojak, Kueh Pie Tee and Carrot Cake from their buffet list too.
Lastly, enjoy their desserts that come with 3-tier set if you order most of the desserts in the list. Beautiful afternoon tea set presentation is served to satisfy your visual. The desserts include Chocolate Pudding, Gula Melaka Creme Caramel, Carrot Cake and Traditional Desserts and Fruit Platter are available.
As for the drinks, the buffet comes with free flow coffee and tea.
If you are into local delights and savoury dishes, I would recommend dining here. They offer quite a range of Asian favourites and most of the dishes are on point considering this is a buffet line. I personally prefer their savoury over desserts. As for their current promotion, I thought the seafood combo bag is well-executed. The flavours are there and the ingredients are fresh as well. If one-time order is not satisfying, you can top up the seafood ingredients at S$20.00++ for another 250gm.
