Start your weekend right with Oscar’s Weekend Brunch at Conrad Centennial Singapore. Be spoilt for choice from unlimited Brunch only available on Saturday and Sundays. I visited Oscar’s recently for the first time. It was nice to enjoy the buffet line and get to choose from the spreads on the spot. Although we are unable to grab our food due to current restrictions, it is still nice to be able to get our visual satisfied.
There are food stations and show kitchens showcasing the buffet spreads. First up is the Ice Bar Station ( Frutti Di Mare). Selection includes French Oysters, Irish Oysters, Canadian Oysters, Prawns, Mussels, Clams, Flower Crab, Salmon Sashimi and Tuna Sashimi.
Oscar’s Signature Caesar Salad, Prosciutto di Parma and Melon and Cheese & Charcuterie On The Board are available as well. The Cheese & Charcuterie On The Board consists of 4 types of Cheese, 2 Types of Chutney, Crackers, Dried Fruits, Toasted Nuts and 3 types of Charcuterie.
Next, Lebanese Antipasti Station that offers Grilled Bread, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Harissa, Tzatziki, Basil Marinated Heirloom Beef Tomatoes, Marinated Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Marinated Olives, Marinated Black Garlic, Artichoke and Sun-dried Tomatoes, Marinated Thyme Garlic Sauteed Local Mushrooms, Charred Chillies, Lettuce and Truffle Ricotta.
Spot the Dry Rub Angus Striploin and Roasted Spatchcock Chicken at the Weekend Roast Station.
Do not miss the Live Station where diners get to enjoy Seared Foie Gras, Smashed Avocado and Balsamic Drizzle on top of Homemade Brioche. This is one of my favourite dishes. Right next to it is the Oscar’s Laksa and Oscar’s Signature Seafood Nasi Lemak-Homemade Otah.
BBQ lovers can enjoy the Grilled Lobsters, Garlic-Parsley Butter, Iberico Pork Secreto, Fig and Sage Jus, Beef Galbi, Kimchi at the Charcoal BBQ Station. Diners able to see chef in action cooking fresh lobsters, pork, and beef cuts over charcoal. Diners can simply deposit a clipper with table number and the crew will deliver the food once ready. We enjoyed the rich, umami flavor of the grilled selection especially the lobster and Iberico pork.
As for the soups’ selection, there will be soup of the day and other selections like Wild Mushroom Veloute or Chicken and Dried Oyster Soup with Bamboo Pith, Carrots and Red Dates.
Western Selections include pastas, baked potatoes with mushroom, bacon, pecorino and crème fraiche, baked eggplant parmesan, burratina, roasted butternut squash with whipped chevre, toasted walnuts, sage and more.
Indian cuisine lovers can try the Indian Flavours Station that offers Chicken Tikka Masala and Briyani On The Brunch (Lamb, Chicken or Vegetables).
Local delights selection such as White Wine Butter Prawn, Indonesian Chicken Rendang, Cereal Fish Skin, Mapo Tofu (Impossible Pork), Steamed Fish with Okra in Nyonya Sauce, Sichuan Style Braised Eggplant, Steamed Pork Ribs and Black Beans, Nasi Goreng, Lo Mien and more to add on to the buffet spread.
Lastly, there are wide variety of dessert selections to choose from. Indulge in Mixed Fruit Pavlova Cake, Mille-Feuille, Green Tea Cake, Chocolate Royal Hazelnut Crunch, Maple Walnut Cheesecake, Cherry Almond Tart, Panna Cotta with Strawberry Compote for you to choose. There is also live station for Crepes Suzette Flambeed with Caramel Sauce, Grand Marnier and Vanilla Ice Cream, Belgium Waffle with Ice-Cream and Traditional Bread and Butter Pudding.
Ice-cream Station covers flavours like Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Raspberry Sorbet and Mango Sorbet. If you prefer fruits, there are seasonal cut fruits too.
Oscar’s is one of our buffet choices that has aplenty dishes to cater to everyone as compared to other buffet restaurants. The menu changes periodically but the main highlights remained. The quality of the dishes here are pretty good I would say. The service crews were friendly and approachable as well. If you are planning for a good buffet place, try here!
