[SG EATS] SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot Outdoor Private Garden Dining Experience

My friend and I had a wonderful garden dining experience at SIRI HOUSE recently. SIRI HOUSE introduces a breathtaking garden dining experience in partnership with Veuve Clicquot.Whether you are planning a boozy brunch, a sumptuous dinner party of 10 or a romantic dinner for 2, dine amidst the lush greenery of Dempsey Hill, complete with garden views, florals for the table and Veuve Clicquot Champagne. SIRI HOUSE’s outdoor terrace is a new open air garden trellis designed especially for the occasion. At night, a ceiling off greenery and light bulbs are complemented by dreamy hanging glass baubles, filled with candles and florals. In the day, fabrics are delicately draped over the structure , providing shelter from heat and excessive light.

The dining experience comes with a choice of 4-course S$98.00++/pax or 6-course S$128.00++/pax individually plated ‘Dine at Dusk’ dinner.The dinner menu consists of amuse bouche, appetizer, entrée and dessert, and all menus are complemented by the effervescence of sparkling Vueve Clicquot Champagne.

I was invited for the tasting session so I was served 5-course to showcase the dishes included in the dinner menu. We started off with amuse bouche of Chef Leo’s seasonal selection.
SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot-Doenjang Glazed Beef Short Rib
As for appetizer, we had the Doenjang Glazed Beef Short Rib drizzled with Pear Beef Jus served together with Parsnip Celeriac Puree and Ume Pickled Daikon.Well-marbled sous vide for 36 hours beef short rib taste amazingly tender and savory. The crunchy pickled daikon slaw and parsnip celeriac puree balanced off the beefy flavour from the meat.SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot-Marinated Duck Breast
Another appetizer is the Marinated Duck Breast served with Fondant Potatoes, Watercress and Pink Peppercorn sauce. The duck breast meat slices were tender and the goji berry sauce and pink peppercorn sauce gives a hint of sweetness to the dish.

SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot-Lobster Miso Carbonara
Moving on to the Entrée dish and we had the Lobster Miso Carbonara. Housemade pappardelle tossed in the sauce and garnished with sauteed seasonal mushrooms and fried parma ham. The sauce is made with egg yolks, 3 kinds of cheese and white miso. Not forgetting the bincho grilled whole maine lobster tail and glazed in chicken fat. Perfect dish! We loved it so much and I secretly hope for second serving.
SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot-Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass Sauce Vierge
Another choice of entrée dish is the Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass Sauce Vierge. The fish is cooked low and slow in a dry pan till the skin is crisp followed by placing it in the oven. Then, it is served with a light bright sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, thyme, tarragon, fish sauce and olives. Mild delicate flavour with a subtle sweetness from the fish and the sauce has the taste of salsa with summery Mediterranean ingredients and flavours.

SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot-Sicilian Pistachio
We ended the night with three (3) desserts- Jasmine Ice-cream served with Mille Feuille and Puffed Rice, Toasted Buckwheat and Chamomile Syrup, Orange Chocolate Preserved Orange Peel Chocolate Mousse, Candlenut Ice-cream and Dark Chocolate Feuilletine and Sicilian Pistachio. I am not so much a dessert person but I really enjoyed all the desserts served. It is not too sweet, and chef did put in some savoury elements into it especially the Sicilian Pistachio ice-cream served with a brown butter crumble base topped with shavings of cured egg yolk and shaved parmesan.SIRI HOUSE x Veuve Cliquot-Orange Chocolate
The Orange Chocolate has a mix of salthy and sour-ish from the preserved orange peel in the dark chocolate mousse and the rest of the ingredients are paired well. We loved it!

Available for 2 to 10 pax groups (with an applicable minimum spend), guests can opt to Dine at Dusk with 4 individually plated courses. The outdoor private dinner bookings are available from Tuesday to Sunday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, while Brunch Private Dining S$70.00++/pax min. 5 pax) is available for weekends 11:30AM to 1:30PM. The brunch feasts offer a list of 13 brunch plates to share, a bread and pastry platter and a selection of seasoned butters and jams. Diners can order bottles of Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label, Rose or La Grande Dame at special promotional prices, starting at S$120 per bottle.
