Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant has refreshed it’s a la carte menu and launched the seasonal Sri Lankan Crab menu recently. Helmed by Executive Chinese Chef Brian Wong Shiuh Yean, diners can look forward a combination of imaginative and refined luxurious delicacies to wow the discerning palates of modern diners. Think classic Cantonese delicacies that are familiar and comforting, yet refined and exquisite with the use of the finest, fresh ingredients.

Beginning with Four Happiness Dumpling, Deep-fried Salted Egg Crab Bun and Deep-fried Spring Roll with Crab Meat and Glass Noodle served in a platter for tasting session. The items are served separately in the menu.

Next, Braised Bird’s Nest with Crab Claw and Watercress Superior Stock.
Savour the luxurious taste of the flavourful broth that comes with sweet notes from the crab meat. What surprised me is that watercress usually has the bitter taste, but Chef nailed it. There is no earthy or sight of bitterness from the watercress. We savour every sip.

My favourite dish of the night and wish I can have second servings. Love the big bold taste of the gravy and its savoury and sweetness from the crab meat. Delish!
