Kaisendon has been trending recently in Singapore F&B scene. My recent visit for Kaisendon was located at Basement 3, ION Orchard. I actually packed back for my sisters whenever I pass by Teppei kiosk. So, when I heard that Teppei Daidokoro also offers Kaisendon as well, I was thrilled because it is a few minutes walk away from my working place and I can have it anytime I want.

Teppei Daidokoro is the latest Japanese yakitori concept of Chef Teppei Yamashita and a local couple. Daidokoro in Japanese is referring to Kitchen. This takeaway kiosk concept offers yakitori, croquettes, and the kaisendon. Thus, customers will definitely spoilt with choices.

So, basically the display counters are filled with the yakitori items and deep-fried items including chicken ball, chicken with Japanese leek, pork sausages, salmon skin, quail eggs and others. Each item is nicely labelled with pricing so that customers can have the idea on the pricing. Each item is nicely grilled with the yakitori sauce by the staff daily.

My favourite skewer is the salmon belly. I enjoyed the crispy bites of the salmon skin and the meat was juicy and in good condition. It is priced at S$3.80 / pc (There are 3 cube sizes of the fish meat).

And the chicken ball full of flavours with the yakitori sauce which is ideal for some tea snacks.

And of course, the Kaisendon is available for takeaway at Raffles City Shopping Centre kiosk.
