Elan situated at Shaw Centre is a modern French restaurant by Les Amis group. The restaurant is in the same row as Les Amis, Mui Kee and other Les Amis concepts. They took over the previous restaurant, La Strada. My friend and I were planning for a catch-up session, and we decided to book here for lunch as they are offering a set lunch menu priced at S$60.00++ per guest on Saturdays too. My second visit to Pete’s Place Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore after 11 years (my last visit was 2009). It is said to be one of the oldest Italian restaurants in Singapore. The restaurant is located at the basement of the hotel along Scott’s Road. You need to go down the staircase upon reaching the hotel lobby. It feels like walking down into a cellar. It was my friend’s first visit and she is surprised to find out that there is a restaurant there.
